Calling All Who Serve at Worship
There are so many things that happen to make worship what it is at our church. So many of you are involved in so many ways to provide an experience that flows smoothly, operates flawlessly, and allows us to give praise and thanks to God without a bunch of distractions. But it takes work and planning to do all of that.
So it is time. On Sunday, March 9 at 11:45 am we will gather those who assist with worship for some new training and organization. I need:
Greeters, Ushers, Assisting Ministers, Communion Servers,
Altar Care Members, and Lectors.
I need all of you to join me for a refresher course.
We will all gather in the sanctuary to begin, and then we will split off into our various groups for additional training. Maybe this is something you’ve always wanted to be involved in . . . this is your chance!
Some of you are great at welcoming people to our church. Some of you have a great speaking voice. Some of you want to help behind the scenes and not be up front. Some of you are willing to do whatever needs to be done. We need all of you to help.
If you look on our “Assisting with Worship Page”, we need at least 50 of you to make things happen every week. Please plan to join us as we go over current procedures, add a few new wrinkles, and do everything we can to help others worship at our church.
I want to see all of you seasoned veterans on Sunday, March 9 as well as those who want to try things for the first time.
