New Online Directory Coming Soon

This fall, Prince of Peace is making a switch to new church software!

What do you need to do?

Nothing at all right now.

But in a couple of weeks, I will send out emails to all members with the details so that you can set up your login credentials and start using Realm.

 
What will switching to Realm mean to you?
The upshot is that Realm is a lot like Breeze, but better, with more powerful functions – especially for communication.
And Realm software simply works better and is more dependable.

Realm is a secure member portal that includes:

• Online church photo directory (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses & photos of all church members)
• Your giving history and pledge information
• Tools to communicate with groups, ministry teams, committees, classes
• Registration forms for upcoming events, classes, etc.

What about your giving?
If you have recurring giving set up right now in Breeze, you don’t need to do anything at all! Your giving will remain with Breeze until January 2026. When we have the stewardship campaign in January, we will help you switch your giving to Realm.

Why switch?
One of the recommendations out of the Jan 2025 Crum & Co report to improve our church’s internal controls, policies, governance and procedures was that we invest in fund-based non-profit and church specific accounting software. Realm fits this bill.

Realm can handle our accounting, and its accounting software is designed specifically for churches. In fact, Realm can handle our payroll, accounting and reporting all in one place, which will save the church money and time.

What happens next?
So, look for an email from me in a couple of weeks (Tuesday, Sep 9) with the next steps.
