Christ is risen, indeed!  Alleluia!

We continue our ongoing celebration of Easter this week at Prince of Peace with a celebration of Little Shepherds Learning Center and the incredible work of its retiring director, Sue Miller.

In the church it will be the Fourth Sunday of Easter, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday, but for us it will be both Good Shepherd and Little Shepherd Sunday.

Sue Miller was hired to put together our preschool – literally to buy all the materials needed, including all the preschool furniture, get all the licensing and regulatory credentials in order, hire a staff, and then convince parents to send their children here. She did it all! For more than two decades she has maintained and run our pre-school with tremendous skill and care.

So we are going to take a few moments to thank her. Come to worship at the 9:00 a.m. worship service for a special presentation to Sue, and then join us in the Fellowship Hall for a reception at 10:00 a.m.

We are so proud of the work that Sue has done, and also glad that she will still remain with us to direct our Sunday Church School. Please join us this Sunday, April 26, at 9:00 a.m. as we honor the good work and ministry of Sue Miller.
