A Symphony of Psalms
For as long as Christians have gathered together, the psalms have been a source of comfort as well as an opportunity express lament, praise and joy. These texts have inspired composers for as long as they have been writing sacred music.
As we come to the end of a year-long study of the psalms, we offer you an opportunity to join us to hear some of these marvelous compositions. On Sunday, May 3 at 4 p.m. our own choir will gather with instrumentalists to share some of the beloved compositions based on the psalms by composers C. H. Parry, Mozart, Rutter, Howells, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Beck, Anglea and Bankson.
Plan to join us and bring a friend for this final concert of our 2025-2026 Concert series.
