Hope you are having a blessed week as we move full throttle into spring with both warm, sunny days and then rainy, dark ones.

There are a couple of things that I want to remind you of this week.

Meet and Greet with New Pastoral Candidate

This Thursday, May 6th, at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary, you will have an opportunity to meet our new candidate for Associate Pastor at Prince of Peace. He will be here to lead us in a brief worship, introduce himself and his family, and then field any questions you might have. Please sign up to attend.

Global Missions World Tour

Coming up on the weekend of May 15-16, you will have an opportunity to learn about our 12 mission partners throughout the world. A display for each one of our global partners will be set up just outside the Fellowship Hall.

You will also be able to get a “Global Missions Passport” to be filled out as you move among the displays. Be sure to visit every display to learn about each one of our partners, the important work that they are doing, and to have your passport stamped.

Regular Schedule for Worship
We are now back to our “regular” or “normal” schedule for worship: 5:30 pm on Saturdays, and 8:15 am, 9:30 am, and 11:00 am on Sundays. We are still asking you to wear masks inside the church and to socially distance. But we are excited that we now are, at least in some small way, finding a way to meet safely for worship.

May is always a busy time. Make sure you carve out some time in your schedule for Prince of Peace!

Serving with you,

Pastor John D. Morris, Senior Pasto
