Normally, we see our program year slowing down about now. Memorial Day and the Memorial Tournament usually usher in a slower pace around the church. But not this year!!
With the pandemic on its way out, instead of grinding to a halt, we’re gearing up for lots of summer plans. Here are just a few:
Full Worship Assistants
Very soon we will be adding all the regular worship assistants, including acolytes, back to the schedule. It will be such a blessing to have full participation and help – and not just a few people up front!
Vacation Bible School – June 22-23
Our theme this year is “Rocky Railway” — “Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through.” It will be held from 9:00 am to Noon and registration is available online through our website.
The Rite of Confirmation – Saturday, July 3
It’s been a difficult year of teaching and confirm-ating with the pandemic, but we have another class ready to affirm their faith. All are welcome to this worship service, which will be held on July 3rd at 3:30 pm.
Welcome of Pastor Wrenn and his Family
We have several things planned to welcome our new pastor. Watch for some fun events and activities as we open our doors for this new family and colleague during July and into the Fall.
These are just the highlights. We have a lot more planned. There’s not going to be a Summer Slump at Prince of Peace. Instead, we’re planning for a Summer Bump!
