Set Up: Saturday, August 16 at 10 AM
Donations Received: Sunday, August 17 at noon - Thursday, August 21 at 2 PM
Preparation Days: After worship on Sunday, August 17 through Thursday, August 21
Sale Days: Friday, August 22 (9 AM - 7 PM) & Saturday, August 23 (9 AM - 1 PM)
Clean up: Saturday, August 23 at 12:30 PM


What items can you donate?

Items that are clean, gently used, in working condition with all parts.

  • Small furniture  - must easily be transported in a small SUV

Please:

  • No large exercise equipment*
  • No electronic equipment, no computers, no monitors, no speakers, no printers
  • No upholstered furniture*
  • No large heavy furniture*
  • No bedding, no pillows, no mattresses
  • No cribs, no car seats
  • No CDs, no DVDs, no video tapes
  • No magazines
  • No men's suits


When can you drop off items?

Bring any items that you wish to donate after noon on Sunday, August 17 through 2 PM on Thursday, August 21. All items should be gently used. We ask that all donors discard any dirty or heavily used items at their own homes.



Sign Up to Help with Closet Cause

Lots of helpers are needed throughout the week to make this event happen.  Contact Megan Orr.

Saturday, August 16
Set-Up Crew -- Meet at the church at 10 AM on Saturday, August 16 to set up the Fellowship Hall for the event.
 
Sunday, August 17 to Thursday, August 21
Sorting and Pricing -- Work anytime after worship on Sunday and during the week through Thursday from 8 AM to 8 PM to price, sort, and stage items to be sold.
 
Friday, August 22 & Saturday, August 23
Help with Sale – Be available to help customers with their purchases and be an “active presence” for the church.

Cashiers – Check out customers at cashier locations. 

Bake Sale – Donate items for the bake sale or staff the kitchen the day of the event.

Clean-Up and Tear Down Crew -- Meet at the church at noon on Saturday, August 23 to load any extra items onto trucks, tear down and clean the Fellowship Hall and other areas used by the event.
