Here We Go!!!

We are all set for another year of Christian Education and Fellowship. Rally Day is this Sunday, September 10, beginning with Sunday School at 9 am for preschoolers through 5th Grade, and at 11:30 am there will be a potluck picnic for all ages in the Fellowship Hall.

For Confirmation and older, we will all begin reading together By Heart – a Conversation with Luther’s Small Catechism.  As of this writing, we are completely out of the books (which is awesome), but we have ordered more and hope to have them in soon. Watch for them on the table just outside the sanctuary and make your plans to attend a Bible study or small group discussion.

I always feel like the church is at its best when we come together to learn about our faith and worship the one who saves us. A growing faith life rooted in praise allows us to go out into the world for witness and service.

Are you ready? Have you thought about how you will participate in all the activities of our church this fall? Have you thought about how it can change your life and set priorities for you that will re-shape and energize you?

I’m ready to go. So all aboard! All aboard for another year to learn about the one who gives us true life and hope.
