Intergenerational Trivia & Prayer Partners
This past Sunday evening I hosted the very first intergenerational trivia night at Prince of Peace. About 30 people from the congregation participated, trying their hand at answering my wacky questions that spanned over decades of knowledge. While some questions may have stumped teams, I think I can say that everyone had a fun time and hopefully learned something new.
Out of the intergenerational trivia night, I am hopeful to create a Prayer Partners ministry at Prince of Peace. The goal, just like trivia night, would be to connect church members from different age groups, and give space for intentional conversation and prayer.
Prayer Partners will occur weekly on Sunday, between church services in the fellowship hall. Gather over POPs Cafe breakfast as you check in with your group to talk about your week and offer a prayer for one another.
If you are interested in Prayer Partners, please fill out a form and return it to me either by church mailbox or via email by the end of October. Once I receive your form, it will help me put you into a Prayer Partners group. Each group will have 4-6 people. If you have any questions about Prayer Partners, do not hesitate to reach out!
God's Peace,
P.S. There is a good chance that another trivia night will be held soon, so if you were not able to participate this past Sunday. Keep your eyes and ear open!
