One Dublin

Formerly known as “The Welcome Warehouse,” One Dublin has been supporting people in the Dublin School System for many, many years. Our own Heather Heins is currently serving as their Executive Director.

Basically, One Dublin helps any family in the Dublin School District with meeting their basic needs.  From clothing to hygiene to school supplies, this organization had been there to provide for students and their families.

Recently I met with Heather Heins and their new Spiritual Director, Andrea Laux. They asked me if we would continue to support and pray for their organization, and of course, I answered that we would.  But I also know that you would like to join me, so . . . .

1)    If you would like to pray for their ministry, as I do, simply email Andrea at onedublinprayers@gmail.com.  
2)    If you would like to be part of their “Back-to-School Celebration Welcome Team” to greet families while they wait to sign-in by welcoming them and offering prayer. Let me or Andrea know.
3)    If you would like to join their “Adopt-a-Family Prayer Team” during the Advent and Christmas Season, we can help you with that.
4)    Or if you would simply like to join the “One Dublin Prayer Chain,” you can do that on their website.

Those are all the prayer things that they need. They also need people willing to help with their Clothing Free Shop. Contact me if you might be interested.

All of this is to say that there is always work to be done right here in Dublin and throughout the world. There are always, always, always more needs in our communities than we realize. Don’t hesitate to live out your faith by jumping in. I’ll be swimming alongside of you.
